Up to now, I've been drawing exclusively traditional art, mostly due to it being cheaper and more accessible, as well as just basic preference (my only other option was drawing with a computer mouse, which never felt right to me).

I'm still gonna be putting out traditional art, but I recently got a tablet so I could start dabbling in digital art as well, and so far it's been pretty fun messing around and trying it out. Don't have anything ready yet, but expect some digital drawings from me in the future.

So, for the last couple months of 2023, I went for long periods of time without uploading anything, other than like one drawing, and I want to apologize for that.

The reasons for that partially due to just being physically tired (without giving too many personal life details, I work a very physical day job, and I tend to come home from this job very exhausted and not wanting to do anything but rest), partially due to trying to take more time away from the internet in general, and also just kind of losing the motivation to draw or do anything art-related (as much as I love drawing, I sometimes go through phases where the motivation to do so just isn't there, not helped by being exhausted from work like I said earlier). Because of that, I ended up only uploading one drawing in December, instead of once every week like I try to.

Gonna try to get back on the "upload once a week" track, and to hopefully make up for the long periods of not uploading stuff, here's some WIP drawings, some of which were done quite a while ago in advance. A belated Happy New Year to everyone, and here's to hopefully many more drawings in 2024.

I've just made an account over on Itaku for posting art. Been using Newgrounds as my main hub for posting my art (with a couple other websites for posting my art when it's relevant), and that's not gonna change, but now I have another site for a secondary hub of sorts.

Today, I just got a new scanner. Up until now, I've been uploading my art by taking photos of it with my phone. Now, I can instead scan them for (hopefully) much better quality. Gonna be scanning everything going forward. I even went ahead and scanned all my previous pictures and will be updating them (don't worry, the "photo versions" won't be going away, they'll just be in the commentary space in case anyone still wants to see them).

I've always had a passion for art (stemming from my love for various anime, cartoons, comics, and video games and such), and I've recently decided to finally get serious about drawing... and by "get serious", I mean "draw stuff and start posting it online for people to see".

I initially made an Instagram account and started posting there, and it went well for a few days... then my Instagram account got disabled. I've no idea why it was disabled, and as of this post I'm still trying to get it back. Since I still wanted to post my art somewhere and I heard that Newgrounds was a good place for that, that lead to me making my account here.

Gonna be mainly posting my art here for now, though I'll also post to my Instagram if that ever gets un-disabled.
